Westnet Broadband - What do I need?

To get your Westnet Business Broadband up and running, you will need:

  • A broadband plan
    Choose from our Westnet Business Broadband2+ or Broadband1 plans. Every plan comes with 10 free email addresses, 1GB of webspace, anti-spam & anti-virus, plus our award-winning customer service.
  • A phone line
    You will need a working phone line to your business, so your broadband modem (or router) can connect to the internet. If you combine Business Phone Extra or Phone Premium with a Business Broadband plan, you'll receive extra quota for your monthly download allowance.
  • A broadband modem or router
    This is the box that connects you to the internet via your phone line. If you have a broadband connection with another provider, you may already own a modem you can bring over. Otherwise, order one of ours, and we'll send you a setup CD to help you get online.
  • A central filter
    A filter plugs into your phone so your internet stays connected when you make phone calls. We'll send you one of these with any Westnet modem or router you purchase.

Already with another provider but want to join Westnet?

  1. Do not cancel your current broadband service.
  2. View our current Westnet Business Broadband plans.
  3. Sign up online for your chosen broadband plan or call Westnet Business Solutions on 1300 786 006.
  4. We will then transfer your broadband service, and notify you when this is complete.
  5. Once you hear from us, please contact your previous ISP to advise of the change.
