About our VPN service

Our VPN is supplied and managed by PowerTel, who own and operate the third largest fixed fibre-optic network in Australia and is one of the largest alternative DSL networks in Australia.

Their infrastructure enables Westnet to guarantee a 99.9% uptime Service Level Agreement.

As data is not carried over the internet, the Westnet VPN service is completely secure. If ADSL is not available at all of your office locations, we can integrate VPN with ISDN, FRAME and other communications technologies. No additional software is required for individual PCs - your router provides the single point of authentication, and only requires one login for all computers in your network.

How VPN works

Private IP VPN Account Information

IP VPN pricing includes Silver Quality of Service (QoS), which ensures packets are sent and received in the correct priority order. All data in the IP VPN is unlimited and included in the monthly connection fee.
