A traffic accident puts an audacious young criminal named Lightfoot (Jeff Bridges) in contact with well-known fugitive bank robber Thunderbolt (Clint Eastwood), after he almost runs him down. Finished with being incognito and on the run, Thunderbolt is inspired by the energy of his new partner in crime and decides to stage a rerun of his famous heist seven years ago, in which he used a cannon to blow up an amoured car. At the same time, Thunderbolt is in search of the spoils from the previous robbery, which were hidden in an old schoolhouse, now nowhere to be seen. Forced at gunpoint to include members of his old gang, who believe that Thunderbolt hid the money from them, the team stages the robbery but things rapidly go downhill when Red (George Kennedy) from the old crew tries to turn the tables on Thunderbolt, and puts them all in jeopardy.  

Brother and sister Tia (Kim Richards) and Tony (Ike Eisenmann), kept together in an orphanage after their adoptive parents pass away, create some problems for their carers when their supernatural abilities start to become apparent. While away from the orphanage to see a film, Tia has a premonition about an accident, which draws the attention of a lawyer, Lucas Deranian (Donald Pleasance). Deranian, who works for a millionaire named Aristotle Bolt (Ray Milland), brings the children to his boss, who is preoccupied with the occult, but Tia and Tony soon realise that Bolt has not taken them in out of the goodness of his heart. They escape and on their journey, enlist the help of a reclusive man named Jason (Eddie Albert), who assists them by taking them to Witch Mountain, where many paranormal activities occur, in the hope that they may learn about their origins.

Though Mickey is initially argumentative with her, Ellen decides that she likes his sense of humour, he is taken with her, and after a few days together in Paris, they decide to marry. However, once they return to Mickey's home in the United States, things get awry and she is unsure that she has made the right decision as Mickey is the consummate bachelor and is highly focused on his Job which then leaves little time for Ellen. 

In the final stages of preparing his thesis, Monty Kessler (Brendan Fraser) suffers some setbacks when his computer dies, and his only printed copy is taken hostage by a homeless man named Simon (Joe Pesci), after it accidentally falls into his hands. In order to have it returned, Monty is forced to perform a range of favours for Simon, even extending to taking him into his share household, much to the chagrin of his housemates Courtney (Moira Kelly), Everettt (Patrick Dempsey) and Jeff (Josh Hamilton). Simon attempts to bring Monty down a peg or two from his lofty attitude to others around him, and his presence in the household serves to make all of the young students confront issues about themselves. In poor health, Simon puts Monty in a situation where he may have to give up his dream, but as his character continues to be shaped by Simon’s wisdom, Monty realises what his dreams should really be.  

A young reporter has the opportunity to interview a man who claims to be a 200-year-old vampire named Louis. The story begins in the 18th century in New Orleans where Louis first encounters the enigmatic Lestat and converts him into a bloodsucking immortal. To comfort Louis, Lestat creates another vampire, a young girl who from then on cannot age. But Louis is still tormented and decides to destroy Lestat so he can live the rest of his tortured existence without the man who sired him. Louis soon discovers how difficult that task will be.

Expecting a lifetime’s supply of chocolate, Charlie is surprised beyond words when he learns what else Willy Wonka has in store for him.
