Westnet Internet Services voted Number 1 ISP in Australia in customer satisfaction - 16th ACNielsen Consult Australian Online Survey.

Westnet has been rated Australia’s Number 1 Broadband and Dialup Internet Service Provider in Australia in the 16th ACNielsen Consult Australian Online Survey*.

In the most comprehensive survey of the Internet industry Westnet took top honours in overall customer satisfaction for both the dialup and broadband categories.

“This is a great achievement for us considering that customer satisfaction is the number one priority for Westnet Internet Services” says Mr Peter Brown, Westnet’s Managing Director, “it is gratifying to see that our members appreciate the effort that the Westnet team put into the service that we provide to all our members”.

The survey revealed that 97% of Westnet’s Broadband members are satisfied with their current Internet service with 76% being extremely satisfied. Furthermore, 94% of all Westnet dialup members are satisfied with their Internet service provider, with 47% being extremely satisfied.

“The internet industry is extremely competitive”, says Mr Brown “and to stay ahead of other ISPs we must be able to offer superior value. To Westnet this means offering a great product, exceptionally attractive pricing and a unique customer service that is difficult to match.”

Exceptional customer service and competitive prices have backed up Westnet’s national growth. As a result of this carefully implemented strategy Westnet experienced huge expansion and doubled its member base in the past 12 months to over 70 000 members nationwide with a growth rate of 7.5% per month.

“Westnet’s motto is IT’S SERVICE THAT SETS US APART, and that is not just something we simply put on our promotional material, this is something that every staff member in our organisation believes in.” says Mr Brown “Consequently a very large proportion of new members join Westnet as a result of a positive word-of-mouth advertising that other Westnet members provide”.

Westnet’s expansion has helped the company surge into the Top 10 Broadband Providers in Australia. The company now employees over 130 staff and has recently moved to brand new purpose built offices to help accommodate further growth and growing staff numbers.
