Can I Get Satellite Broadband?

Am I eligible for the ABG?

Finding out if you're eligible for the Australian Broadband Guarantee (ABG) is easy. Simply call our Satellite team on 1300 937 863, or email your Westnet username (if you have one), phone number and the address you would like to receive Satellite Broadband to satellite@westnet.com.au.

You may also qualify for more than one Australian Broadband Guarantee subsidy if:

  • A business is run separately from your home premises,
  • If you move to a premises eligible for the subsidy.

Residential customers are eligible for more than one free connection on the same premises if you reside in a distinct house, self-contained unit or apartment. This includes:

  • Separate dwellings on a single farming property,
  • Retirement villages or nursing homes,
  • A caravan permanently located in a caravan park or a boat (but only in a nominated home port and only when technology makes delivery of the service possible).
