Pre-paid Terms & Conditions
Please find below Westnet's Pre-paid Terms & Conditions. Please read and agree to these terms & conditions before signing up with Westnet. In addition, please ensure you read and agree to our General Terms and Conditions.

Pre-paid Terms and Conditions

1. This is an agreement between Westnet Pty Ltd ("Westnet") and all users of the Westnet Pre-paid dialup service ("Service") hereinafter referred to as "the Customer".

2. Prior to using the Service the Customer represents and warrants to Westnet that the Customer has read, understood and agreed to be bound in full by the terms of this agreement, the Westnet General Terms and Conditions and the Westnet Virus Scanning Agreement.

3. The number of Internet access months provided with a pack is printed on the front of the pack and is reflected in "My Pre-paid Portal" - the Customer"s online administration site.

4. The access period commences on the date of registration and expires on the same date of the relevant calendar month.

5. All pre-paid accounts feature unlimited time and unlimited downloads with a 4 hour session time limit - ie The Customer will be automatically disconnected if any session exceeds 4 hours (Note a disconnected Customer can automatically reconnect to the Internet).

6. Local call charges will apply to Customer dialup telephone service provided the Customer is dialing the Westnet nationwide dialup number: 019 8308 333.

7. To continue using the Service following the expiry of an access period, the Customer must:

  • Purchase either a pre-paid kit or an activation key. These are available from a local agent or via the secure "My Pre-paid" portal" or
  • Enter into a monthly plan with Westnet.

8. Upon the expiry of the Pre-paid period Westnet will suspend the Customer account for a period of up to 90 days during which time the Customer will be able to reactivate it by purchasing one of the products listed in clause 7. above. During the suspension period Westnet may continue to receive and store Customer emails and maintain Customer web space. However, these will be unavailable to the Customer until the Customer account with Westnet is in credit.

9. The Customer will receive the following Bonus days in respect of "top ups":

  • 1 month pack = 5 bonus days
  • 3 month pack = 12 bonus days
  • 6 month pack = 21 bonus days
  • 12 month pack = 39 bonus days

*Bonus day are only available with the top up period that purchased by the Customer.

10. Prior to entering into this agreement, the Customer represents and warrants to Westnet that the Customer has read, understood and agrees to be bound in full, by the Westnet General Terms and Conditions

11. All notices to be delivered under this agreement must be in writing and sent by post, email, facsimile or hand delivery.

12. A current copy of this agreement may be obtained on the Westnet website.

13. This agreement is to be governed and construed according to the laws in force in Western Australia.

14. A Static IP address is not available on pre-paid accounts due to technical and billing restrictions.
