Want to combine great coverage with cutting-edge technology? Westnet has a range of 4G mobile phone plans that you can buddy with any of our awesome Samsung mobile phones, or alternatively, take the SIM-only option and get connected with us while using your own handset.

Existing broadband customers signing up before 2 December 2014 will receive $15 off their monthly bill for the first six months*. Our plans will work on 4G, 3G, and 2G (never heard of 2G) networks, depending on coverage in your area and your handset's capabilities. This offer is not yet available to new broadband customers.

*Normal monthly mobile fees apply after the 6 months is over, unless the 4G SIM service is cancelled.

You can choose from a large range of high-quality Samsung handsets to go with our mobile plans. Whether you go with an Android-powered phone like the Galaxy Note III or a Windows device like the ATIV S, you’ll be blown away by the smartness of our smartphones. Our flagship handsets, the Galaxy S5 and Galaxy Note III, are 4G compatible so you can pair it with one of our mobile phone plans.

Once you’ve chosen the perfect handset, it’s time to match it with the perfect mobile phone plan. Whether you’re on a budget, or you really like to talk, we have the plan to cover you. Our plans support both the 3G and 4G networks, so for those who have a need for speed, we have the plan for you.

There are four mobile phone plans to choose from, offering call and text value, and a monthly data allowance, so you can stay connected. With each plan, you can enjoy great included value, and depending on the plan you choose, you could also benefit from all-inclusive national calls, texts and Westnet-to-Westnet mobile calls.

To make calls or use mobile internet on the 4G network, you’ll need to do the following:

  • Use your SIM card in a 4G-compatible handset
  • Be within a 4G coverage area

If not, your calls and mobile internet will use the 3G or 2G network instead if they are available. Our 4G plans swap easily between these networks to make sure you have as much service coverage as possible.

Total Minimum Cost

Total minimum cost over 24 months is $, which includes: $ for a SIM plan ($20 SIM + $ mobile plan fee over 24 months), $1038.75 for a broadband plan ($79.95 connection fee + $39.95 over 24 months for an ADSL2+ Home-1 plan) and $ for the handset ($ over 24 months) Usage costs are extra.

* Not all mobile handsets are compatible with our SIM cards or it may be necessary for your handset to be unlocked before it can work with our SIM cards.

^ Handsets are only available to customers who have a Broadband Internet Service and Mobile SIM Plan with us. The total minimum cost of a Broadband Internet Service over a 24 month contract on the ADSL2+ Home-1 plan is $1038.75 ($39.95 monthly broadband plan fee + $79.95 connection fee). The total minimum cost of a SIM Plan is $380 ($20 for Mobile Voice SIM card + $15 Mobile Plan per month over 24 months). The option of paying for the handset in monthly instalments is only available while you have a Broadband Service and SIM Plan with us. If you cancel your Broadband Service or SIM Plan during the 24 month repayment term, we will charge you the remaining outstanding instalments in full on your next invoice.

*** Our 4G handsets require a 4G compatible SIM plan in order to unlock 4G coverage.
