MyWestnet Gets a Makeover

Westnet, one of Australia's largest privately owned telecommunications service providers, has today launched a new look for its consumer portal: www.mywestnet.com.au
MyWestnet is a comprehensive online portal, providing members with a range of web services such as account tools, Google search, news and video content, classifieds and lifestyle services, online information and guides plus exclusive member competitions.
The site has undergone a dramatic makeover resulting in a cleaner, simpler design with a realm of new content and services. We have also introduced new features enabling users to personalise the site which include choosing a colour theme from a palette of 6 colours, setting geographical locations for local news, weather and fuel information and minimising content panels that are not required.
New content additions to the site an online dictionary, world time converter, ‘on this day' feature, a new finance section where members can check latest news and price results on the Australian Stock Exchange and a partnership with News.com.au to provide local news feeds for Westnet customers nationwide.
The site also boasts brand new partnerships with the cream of Australia's leading classified sites, including Realestate.com.au and Seek.com.au, providing members with ‘best in class' classified services in both property and job search websites.
Old favourites such as news, weather, video, horoscope and TV Guide remain on the site, but in a much more user-friendly and ‘easier-to-navigate' format.

The site revamp comes only weeks after Westnet cemented its position as a leader in ISP customer service for the fifth year running, according to the annual Australian Broadband Survey conducted by online user forum Whirlpool.
