Westnet offers broadband for Tasmania and the ACT

Westnet Broadband ADSL services are now available in Tasmania and the ACT. The company has now established points of presence in all states and territories, offering competitive broadband and dialup deals throughout Australia.

"Providing broadband ADSL services to Tasmania and the ACT completes the national roll-out process started 2 years ago", said Mr Peter Brown, Westnet's Managing Director.

Households and businesses will benefit from competitive rates, reliable service and exceptional customer service provided by Westnet. Last year alone, Westnet was voted Australia's number 1 ISP for customer satisfaction in the 16th and 17th ACNielsen Consult Australian Online Survey and 2004 Australian Broadband survey.

All Westnet Broadband plans have generous download limits plus a number of value added features, such as free unlimited traffic within a local peering network (PIPE), free gaming and file mirror servers.

To support its expansion, Westnet is looking for local computer shops, web design companies and IT professionals to join its reseller network. Currently, there are over 1800 resellers nationally promoting Westnet services.
