Changes to landline phone rates
Following changes made by our wholesaler, on Tuesday October 20th 2015 Westnet will be changing landline 13/1300 and selected voice feature rates.
What are the changes?
- 13/1300 calls are increasing by 5c, from 35c untimed to 40c untimed
- Selected voice feature rates will be changing to the rates below:

|Abbreviated Dialling (1-60 numbers)||$3.00 per month|
|Abbreviated Dialling (9-40 numbers)||$0.00 per month|
|Abbreviated Dialling (9-60 numbers)||$0.00 per month|
Who do they apply to?
These changes apply to all of our standard landline services, both Home and Business, current and grandfathered, wherever the above calls/features are applicable.
The changes don’t apply to any of our VoIP services, Fibre Phone, or Business equivalent services such as Business Voice or Lync.
Existing free-call 13/1300 numbers (e.g. mental health services) will not be impacted, nor will any plans with inclusions covering 13/1300 calls.
When will the changes take place?
The new rates will only be charged from Tuesday, October 20th 2015. All fees prior to this date will continue to be billed at the current rates.
