What is Netphone?
Netphone is a VoIP service. VoIP stands for ‘Voice over Internet Protocol’ – basically, it’s a phone service that transmits your voice over your internet connection.
How do I set up Netphone?

Some NBN™ Netphone services will be configured automatically and you will not be able to update the settings.
How do I set up Fibre Phone?
Once your Fibre Phone service has been activated, you’ll be able to use it by connecting your handset to the voice (UNI-V) port on your NBN™ Connection Box.
Will NBN™ Phone work if my internet connection is down?
No. If the internet connection is down, you won’t be able to make or receive calls using your Netphone service.
Fibre Phone may continue to work if your internet connection is down.
If I move house, can I keep my NBN™ Phone number?
NBN™ Phone numbers are attached to geographical zones, so unfortunately we cannot guarantee that you will be able to keep the same phone number if you move house.
Can my phone service be listed in the White Pages?
By default, NBN™ Phone services are not listed.
